The thermal treatment is the point: it changes the structure of the wood itself, so it absorbs less moisture and behaves more stably in a steamy room than untreated timber — that is precisely what separates sauna wood from ordinary wood. Two sizes. Small at 60 × 45 cm, 4 kg — for a shower or bathroom, where you want a dry spot for your feet. Large at 100 × 60 cm, 8.65 kg — for a sauna or spa area with several people moving about.
